Possible Missing Teens Located
Case 2015-9194
On Thursday March 5, 2015 at approximately 3:45 pm after a two day thorough and methodical search, Chambers County Sheriff’s Office along with the Texas Rangers and Baytown Police Department discovered two bodies believed to be those of missing teenagers, (17) year old Jarvis Lamont Morgan Jr and (18) year old Alexjandro Castillo Chavez in a body of water near Anahuac, Texas. During the investigation, detectives followed several leads which lead law enforcement to an area in Oak Island, which is near Anahuac and discovered the two bodies. The identity of the two teens would have to be confirmed by the medical examiner’s office.
As a result of the investigation detectives learned a second person of interest may have information which may help in the investigation. Detectives are asking for the assistance from the public in locating (17) year old Jose Juan Chavez known as “Chop” as a person of interest in the investigation and disappearance of the two teens.
******Officials would be holding a press conference tomorrow (March 6th) at 11:00am in front of the Chambers County Court House located in Anahuac, Texas.
