On Wednesday, February 15th at 6:45 p.m., a fourteen year old boy reported being the victim of an attempted kidnapping. The boy was walking near the intersection of E. Hunnicutt and N. Fifth when he was approached by a black, full size van (possibly a Dodge) with a white scratch on the driver side rear quarter panel. A man reportedly got out of the van, grabbing the boy by his shirt. The boy ran from the man who followed him in the van for several blocks. The van was last seen near N. Fifth and E. James.
