Update March 11. 2025: Official Baytown Police Press Release — Involved: 74-year-old Baytown woman driving a white 2018 Dodge Journey with a child passenger. The driver said she moved into the middle lane to turn left into a gas station in the 4300 block of N Main St. She did not see the motorcycle before feeling the impact.
Injuries: The child passenger sustained arm scratches from the airbag. Female driver did not report any injuries.
Deceased: 24-year-old Baytown man operating a red/white 2007 Yamaha R6. Officers performed life-saving measures before he was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Investigation: The crash reconstruction team was dispatched to investigate. This case is under investigation.
