Story 1: Case #2025-8305: On February 20, 2025, at approximately 10:30 PM, Baytown officers were alerted to a 2019 Cadillac XTS with stolen license plates in the area of Garth Road and W. Cedar Bayou Lynchburg Road. Officers located the vehicle parked in a restaurant parking lot. As officers attempted to approach, the driver—later identified as20-year-old Cameron Baldwin of Baytown—accelerated between vehicles, striking the front left door of a police unit and forcing it shut on an officer. Baldwin then fled the scene, leading officers on a pursuit. The pursuit ended in the 600 block of Hartman Drive when Baldwin’s vehicle came to a slow roll, and he exited on foot, attempting to flee. Officers pursued Baldwin on foot and deployed a K-9 unit; however, no contact was made. He was later taken into custody without further incident. Baytown EMS assessed Baldwin and confirmed he was uninjured. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted felony charges of Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer and Evading Arrest/Detention in a Motor Vehicle
Story 2: Baytown police responded to a call at Love’s Truck Stop of I-10 East. The caller reported a man with a gunshot wound to his head was in the bathroom. It was determined the man had not been shot in the head, but did have a head injury. No other information is available.
Story 3: A motor vehicle occurred Friday night, February 28, in the 8700 block of Highway 146 North. The blue vehicle in this video was found partially lodged under the tanker truck. Neither the male driver of the blue vehicle. nor his son who occupied the vehicle, were injured.
