10.04.24 Three Stories: Shooting/Drowning/Man Jumps from Bridge October 4, 2024 Baytown Cops BaytownCops.com News, BaytownCops.com Videos, Featured Articles, Slider 0 Story 1: Around 9 P.M. on Wednesday, October 2, officers were dispatched to a gas station located in the 3400 block of Garth Road regarding an active physical disturbance involving employees. The incident involved a gun and pepper spray. Upon arrival, officers observed a male with pepper spray on his face and a hole in his shirt consistent with a bullet graze near his stomach. A female at the scene also had pepper spray on her face. Officers arrested 25-year-old Baytown resident, Tyres Mosley. The Harris County ADA accepted charges of Assault and Aggravated Assault – Causing Serious Bodily Injury on Mosley. This case is under investigation; additional information will be provided as soon as it is available for release. Story 2: Around 5:30 P.M. on Sunday September 29, a near-drowning incident occurred on Fox Drive in Baytown. According to the Harris County Sheriff’ Office, the toddler was found in the backyard swimming pool by a family member. The child was airlifted to a Houston hospital where he later died. Please pray for the family. Story 3: Early Saturday morning, September 28, a man was spotted by civilians in the water of the Fred Hartmann Bridge. According to Precinct 8 Constables Office, the civilians were in a boat and retried the man from the water. The male in a suicidal attempt jumped from the bridge. No other information is available.
