On Tuesday, January 30, 2024, around 8:00 am, officers responded to a shooting incident at the apartment complex situated in the 2300 block of Taft Drive. The incident involved a girlfriend shooting her boyfriend in the neck area. The female offender has been identified as 27-year-old Winter Sneed of Baytown; Ms. Sneed is facing the charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The male victim was promptly transported by Baytown EMS to HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. Currently, the case is under active investigation, and additional information will be provided as soon as it becomes available for release.
Story 2: Early Saturday morning, February 3rd, Baytown Fire Department responded to the call of a building fire The building, which was located in the 400 block of E. Texas Avenue, sustained minor damages. It was said the building was struck by lightning. No injuries were reported.
