It was found Williams was involved in the murder. On May 13, 2022,the Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted Tampering with Evidence chargeson Allex Washington. The tampering charge on Washington is in reference to helpingDamere Ferguson clean the involved vehicle after the murder of the victim.“The Baytown Police Department is staffed with professional practitioners of policeservices. We have vowed to pursue and advocate justice for victims of crime. Wehave let it be known that anyone who visits violence upon the citizens and visitorsof Baytown will be identified, will be located, and brought to justice and prosecutedto the fullest extent of the law. Ferguson was arrested in Cincinnati, Ohio; extradition is pending. Harris CountySherriff’s Office is in charge of Ferguson’s extradition back to Texas. The investigation isstill ongoing and updates will be provided as it becomes available for release.———————————————————————————————————————On Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at approximately 7:30 p.m. Baytown Police officers weredispatched to the 3100 block of Ohio for a welfare concern about a person laying in thestreet. Officers arrived and discovered the deceased female, identified as 55-year-oldRoxann Inniss, found in the street near a car. Emergency medical personnel arrived soonafter and pronounced Ms. Inniss dead. Neighbors reported they heard a gunshot and avehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Police continue to seek witnesses anddetectives continue to investigate.“The Baytown Police Department will devote all available resources to identifying,locating, arresting, and prosecuting the criminal responsible. Since December, wehave been able to bring violent offenders to justice through diligent police work, butalso through cooperation of the good citizens of Baytown.
