CORRECTION ON GRAPHIC: Incident occurred on Thursday
2020-61337 – On December 17th at 7:25 a.m., officers responded to a report of a possible home invasion in the 1600 block of East James. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant who advised overnight several armed men had broken into his residence and hid in his bedroom while the complainant hid in the living room. While officers were talking to the complainant he began asking officers if they saw the man hiding behind the stop sign, there was clearly no one hiding behind the stop sign which led officers to believe the complainant was hallucinating or suffering from some type of mental condition. During the investigation officers learned that the complainant, identified as 36 year old Brian Long, had an outstanding Parole Violation warrant and therefore he was placed under arrest and transported to the Baytown Jail and booked on that warrant. Officers did check the residence and found no signs of a break in or any armed men hiding inside. Mug shot attached.
