2020-58206 Detectives investigating shooting of a 32-year-old Baytown man On Sunday, November 29th at 8:42 p.m., Baytown Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of West Wright. Upon arrival officers found one male shot and a second male who appeared to have been physically assaulted. Detectives responded to the scene and what they have learned thus far is the two victims, a 32-year-old male and a 24-year-old male, were sitting in a vehicle in the 100 block of West Wright when they were approached by two black males. An altercation occurred between the two victims and the suspects, which resulted in the 32-year-old victim being shot multiple times and the 24-year-old being physically assaulted. The suspects then reportedly fled the area on foot. The 32-year-old shooting victim was airlifted to Herman Hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries and is currently listed in critical condition. The 24-year-old was treated at the scene by EMS personnel and has been interviewed by Detectives.
