Woman found shot to death inside car
On October 28 at approximately 5:22a.m., Baytown Police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 900 block of Northwood Drive. Upon arrival, officers found 31-year-old Jazmin Garrett, deceased inside her vehicle. Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and as they began their investigation they discovered Ms. Garrett had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and appeared to have been sitting in her car at the time of the shooting. The investigation into this senseless murder is ongoing as detectives are actively following up on leads and interviewing witnesses. The Baytown Police Department takes crimes against our citizens very seriously and is committed to the pursuit of justice on behalf of victims of crime.
