Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant, who alleged he was driving down the road when observed a white male walking down the road. The complainant alleged that he stopped and asked the male if he needed any assistance, to which the male made an offensive hand gesture and then struck his vehicle with an ax before running into the woods. Officers were able to locate the male suspect, who gave a different account, he claimed the driver of the truck nearly struck him as he was walking, which prompted him to make the obscene hand gesture. The driver, apparently saw this and reversed his truck, stopped and he and another male got out of the truck and threated alleged suspect. This prompted the male suspect to brandish an ax and strike the truck in an attempt to prevent the driver and his passenger from assaulting him and give him an opportunity to run into the woods.
