Story 1: 2020-31570 – On June 27th at 9:25 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital Emergency Room in reference to a stabbing victim that had been dropped off at the ER. Upon arrival officers learned that the victim had driven himself to the hospital, with a male passenger with him, after being stabbed multiple times. Once the victim got out of his car, a Chevy Cruze, and entered the hospital, the passenger then got into the driver seat and drove off. Officers attempted to gather information from the victim as to where the incident occurred or who may have assaulted him, however the victim was not cooperative nor forthcoming with much information. His injuries are not life threatening. While officers were investigating the stabbing they learned that the vehicle which had dropped off the victim, was now involved in a crash in the 600 block of Harold Lane. In that crash it was learned that the driver of the Cruze was traveling east on the 600 block of Harold when it turned in front of another vehicle that was traveling south on North Pruett, which caused the other vehicle to strike the Cruze. The Cruze then veered back onto Harold where it struck a fence in the 500 block of Harold before coming to a stop back on North Pruett. The driver of the Cruze left the scene before officers arrived but was described as a black male, 6’00 tall, 200 pounds, athletic build, dark complexion and short hair with twists in it. A short time later the owner of the Cruze arrived on scene and claimed the vehicle had been stolen from the 1600 block of Garth a short time ago and his friends, who happened to live on Harold, called him and told him it was there. Detectives are investigating.
