2020-16522 – On March 26th at 12:11 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Sterling Bay Apartments located in the 4600 Block of Quail Hollow. Upon arrival officers located the complainant, a 20 year old black male, laying in the court yard of the apartment complex and determined he had suffered a single gunshot wound to his buttocks. The complainant claimed a car pulled up while he was standing in the courtyard and someone from that vehicle fired one shot at him, striking him in the buttocks. The complainant was transported to Ben Taub Hospital to be treated for his non-life threatening injury. Detectives are investigating.
