A witness reported a 30-year-old black male victim was involved in a verbal argument that turned physical with a 24-year-old black male actor. During the altercation, the actor shot the victim in the leg. The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition. The victim is not cooperating with the investigation.2020-10263 – On February 21st at 2:20 a.m., officers attempted a to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Ward Road and North Alexander. As the officer activated his emergency equipment the vehicle pulled into the parking lot of Casa Ole but failed to come to a complete stop. The vehicle/suspect would continue on through the intersection of Ward and North Alexander, pulling into the parking lot of a convenience store in this intersection, where it came to a stop. As the officer exited his vehicle, the suspect accelerated and began fleeing from the officer. The officer would pursue the suspect vehicle through the nearby neighborhood, eventually getting stuck in a muddy field at the dead end of 3rd Street. Thankfully no one was inside the abandoned work truck. Police are investigating.
