2019-52076 – On September 4th at 1:16 a.m., officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the parking lot of Big Lots located in the 4800 block of I-10, involving six people. Officers arrived to find the front tire flat and the back window shattered out of a Chevrolet Silverado and a male subject stabbed several times and the owner of the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle advised he and the victim, along with two other subjects, were evicted from the Motel 6 in the 4900 block of I-10 due to them being involved in a disturbance there. The owner of the vehicle advised that his vehicle had a flat so he stopped at the Big Lots to call for some assistance with his vehicle. While he and the victim were waiting on assistance the two other subjects that had been evicted with them, identified as 22 year old Elijah Watson and his sister 28 year old Ciara Watson, arrived on scene where the disturbance continued. During the continuing disturbance Elijah shattered the window on the truck with a bat before leaving the scene. The two suspects returned a short time later at which time a fight broke out and during that fight Ciara stabbed the victim multiple times in the back awhile Elijah struck him several times with the bat. Prior to fleeing the scene Ciara confronted two witnesses, demanded their id’s and threatened them if they cooperated with the police. Both Ciara and Elijah were apprehended a short distance away, arrested and charges have been accepted on both by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Ciara is being charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Robbery while Elijah is being charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Mug shots attached.
