2019-35378 – On June 16th at 2:06 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Chevron located in the 1900 block of Interstate 10. Upon arrival officers contacted the complainant, who appeared to have been assaulted as he had a swollen eye, face and red marks on his face. Officers learned that the complainant was in the game room at the Chevron when he was assaulted by a black male, identified as 34 year old Alfred Stewart of Baytown. The complainant said he assaulted him and took his money while they were in the game room area of the business, Mr. Stewart was no longer on scene when officers arrived. Due to his injuries, the complainant was transported to the Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital to be treated. Officers contacted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and advised them of the facts of the case at which time charges were accepted on Stewart for Robbery. A warrant has since been filed for Stewart’s arrest.
