Two pursuits occurred in Baytown.
The first was on Tuesday, June 11th around 7 pm. The pursuit, which traveled down Garth Road in the midst of heavy traffic, culminated on Hunt Road. At least one subject was arrested at the scene. No other details are available.
2019-34491 – On June 12th at 10:59 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of North Main and East Fayle. As the officer approached the vehicle to make contact with the driver, the driver exited the vehicle acting extremely nervous. As the officer attempted to detain the driver, he pulled away from the officer and fled on foot, running across Main Street and Commerce where officers lost sight of him. One of our K-9 Units was deployed to assist in the search and as a result the driver, identified as 18 year old Christian Fiallos-Rodriguez of Baytown, was located hiding in some bushes and was taken into custody without further incident. Christian was transported to the Baytown Jail where he was booked and charged with Misdemeanor Evading on Foot. Mug shot attached.
