Sheriff Hawthorne reports that yesterday at approximately 4:00 p.m. the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and Special Response Team executed a narcotics search and arrest warrant, signed by the Honorable Judge Randy Van Deventer, Justice of the Peace, at 828 Albritton Gully Road, Hankamer, Texas. Lisa Elizabeth Lewis, 45 of Hankamer, was arrested for being in possession of a large quantity of crack and powder cocaine along with a small amount of marijuana, and a .25 semi-automatic handgun.
Lewis was charged with two charges of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, both 1st degree felonies, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a 3rd degree felony, and a misdemeanor B charge for possession of marijuana.
A 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, a 2012 Chrysler 200, a 2000 GMC box truck and approximately $2500 were seized as proceeds gained from drug trafficking.
