On Sunday, March 10, around 4 pm, a DPS trooper noticed a vehicle with an obscured license plate and he made a traffic stop. Two females were inside the vehicle. The passenger was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. According to Trooper Standifer with the Department of Public Safety, a warrant will be issued today, Monday, for her arrest. Her arrest was delayed because she was transported by Baytown EMS from the scene and admitted into the hospital due to pain in her back from a prior motorcycle accident. The incident occurred at at Highway 146 and El Chaco.
Story Two: On Sunday, March 10th 2019 at 5:15 p.m., Baytown police responded to Boost Mobile, located at 3634 Garth Road,
in regards to an aggravated robbery. The complainant told officers several males entered the store wearing masks and one of them struck him in the face with a rifle which caused his glasses to fall off. The complainant sustained a laceration to his cheek. The subjects took $400.00 from the register and numerous cellular phones. The subjects left in a white Dodge Caravan in an unknown direction.
