On Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at 8:12 p.m., Baytown Police responded to the Dollar General, located at 7916 Bayway, in reference to an aggravated robbery. The complainant reported a black male entered the store and displayed a black handgun. The subject asked for Newport cigarettes and told her to open the cash register. The subject took approximately $500.00 in cash and left the area on foot toward Bayway Drive. The subject was described as being approximately 20 years of age, wearing a black mask, black hoodie with Adidas lettering, and wearing orange or yellow Jordan shoes. The complainant stated the store was robbed last month and she believes it is the same male. The complainant told officers the male asked for Newport Cigarettes during both incidents. The first robbery occurred on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 8:33 p.m. at the same location. The black male took approximately $800.00 in cash during this incident. During the first incident the male was described to be 5’ 6” tall, slim build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, denim jeans, white Nike Air Force shoes and black ski mask. Case is under investigation and it is not confirmed if the actor is the same person in both incidents.
