A teen male died of gunshot injuries in Baytown tonight. The shooting incident occurred in Channelview. The victim was being transported to Baytown by private vehicle when around 7:30 pm, a Baytown police officer began to follow the speeding vehicle that would not stop until it arrive at Altus on W. Baker Road. Two subjects exited the stopped vehicle and fled f the scene but were quickly apprehended. Baytown’s emergency first responders arrived and administer CPR, but the teen died at the scene.
