On Tuesday night around 10 pm an auto theft occurred which escalated into shots being fired. The incident culminated on Decker Drive near SterlingStreet. In this statement from Lt. Steve Dorris with the BPD —
“it was an auto theft where the owner tracked
the car to that area and confronted
the suspects who fired several shots at the
complainant before fleeing on foot.
No one was injured. Detectives are investigating.”
Also earlier on Tuesday A teen age male was air lifted from the old Kmart parking lot on Pruett to a Houston hospital. The teen sustained some type of traumatic injury that included a broken leg. No other info is available on this video.
