2018-57514 – On October 3rd at 9:21 p.m., officers contacted a suspicious person in the7700 block of Decker Drive. Upon contacting the person she was identified as Surlener Reynolds of Baytown and during that contact she advised officers she had outstanding warrants, which were confirmed via a computer check.
As officers went to place her in custody she became uncooperative and began shouting about being arrested. At the same time a black male, later identified as Clayton Alfred of Baytown, was observed running towards the officers shouting profanities regarding the female being arrested. When officers attempted to detain Alfred he fled on foot which resulted in one of the officers deploying his department issue Taser at Alfred, successfully rendering him incapacitated allowing officers to safely take him into custody. Both subjects were transported to the Baytown Jail where Mr. Alfred was booked for Evading and Ms. Reynolds was booked on local warrants for Speeding, No Driver’s License, Failure to Use Child Safety Seat and No Insurance x 2.
Story 2: Shortly after midnight Friday night, two brothers were traveling in a vehicle and fighting.
The vehicle crashed into a store at the corner of James Bowie and Cedar Bayou. Baytown police and EMS responded to the scene. One brother was tased by police and transported to the Baytown jail. The other brother was transported to the hospital for injuries. No other details are available
