09.03.18 Shooting on Adobe Lane in Chaparral Village (Press Release Now Added)

Update:  2018-51430 – On September 3rd at 2:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 4500 block of Adobe. Upon arrival officers found a 66 year old Baytown man deceased from an apparent self-inflicted guns shot wound. The name of the deceased is being withheld until which time the next of kin can be notified by the Medical Examiner’s Office. Detectives are investigating as normal protocol, however at this time there doesn’t appear to be any signs of foul play.

Baytown police are currently working the scene of a shooting that occurred around 2:30 am this morning on Adobe Lane in Chaparral Village.  There are possibly two victims with one dead at the scene.  Check back for the official Baytown Police press release.
