Three News Stories…
On Thursday, August 30th at 10 p.m., officers responded to the
Dollar General store located at 4220 Decker Drive,
in reference to an aggravated robbery. The employee stated
a male wearing a white-hooded sweatshirt, black sweat pants
, ski mask with skull face, and black gloves entered the store
waving a gun. The subject did not take anything and the employee
was not hurt. The subject left the area on a bicycle towards
the 4200 block of W. Baker Road.

Story 2:
This accident occurred today at the intersection of Ward Road
and Alexander Drive. According the information gathered at
the scene, the driver of this pickup failed to yield for the ambulance
that was responding to a call. No injuries were sustained.
Story 3:
This accident occurred today at the intersection of Highway 1405
and Highway 99. Eyewitnesses said they noticed as the driver
began to negotiate the turn, the trailer began to lean and
eventually flipped over. Another passerby was able to help
free the driver from the semi while awaiting the arrival of EMS.
The victim was airlifted by Life flight to a Houston hospital.
