Upon arrival officers learned that the complainant and a former friend, had been in an altercation over an alleged theft. The two exchanged text messages back and forth threatening each other until the friend arrived at the complainant’s residence. The friend threw a board at the complainant’s residence, shattering a window at which time the complainant exited his residence with a knife. The friend then retreated and the complainant slashed the tires on the friends vehicle. The two then engaged in a physical confrontation in the street. During the fight, the friend’s finger was cut as he attempted to get the knife away from the complainant. Neither subject wanted to pursue charges on the other, therefore they were both cited for Disorderly Conduct/Fighting and released.
