2018-25975 – On May 3rd at 9:41 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 1700 block if Utah in reference to an auto –pedestrian accident. The original information was that the driver of a vehicle had intentionally ran over a female and fled the scene. However, it was later learned that the driver of the vehicle also called police and advised he was waiting at the Valero at Missouri and Hwy 146. During the course of the investigation detectives learned that the subject waiting at Valero had actually been at the residence when he was assaulted by a male and a female at the residence, who struck him with beer bottles and kicked him while he was on the ground. The complainant, who had suffered injuries to his face and head, was able to make it to his car in an attempt to escape the attacks when the same male and female started striking his car, shattering his windows. The complainant attempted to escape the scene and in the process ran over the female, which caused injuries to her legs and possible internal injuries. The female was flown to Hermann Hospital in Houston to be treated for her injuries but has since been released and is up and about. No charges have been filed as Detectives are still investigating.
