We received report of a commercial structure fire at 1240. Units arrived on location to find fire in the rear of the building and the flames had penetrated through the roof. Incident Commander ordered a defensive attack. The roof was compromised and failed completely around 0120. There were no injuries and the fire is still under investigation. Units that responded were: Engine2, Engine 1, Engine 3, Engine 5, Engine 4, Tower 7, Battalion 1, Incident Safety Officer, and Assistant Chief of Operations. All units except Engine 2 returned to service at 0400. Additional units were called to scene this morning for smoldering fire and investigators are on scene.
