Late this afternoon, Friday, October 6, 2017, the operator of this motorcycle was turning into the parking lot of the Waffle House on N. 146 in Mt. Belvieu when he was struck by a truck. Witnesses at the scene stated the driver of the pickup made a statement before he left the scene, saying he was a policeman from Galveston County and instructed them to call 911. Whether thats true or not, we don’t know at this point. The victim was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX.
