Also, Baytown’s emergency response crews have worked tirelessly since yesterday responding to 911 calls in the midst of the Tropical Story Harvey flood. Rescue operations included stranded motorists, victims trapped in flooded homes, victims trapped in flooded vehicles, individuals trapped in flood waters and sick calls. Rescue workers rescued some by boat and some by bus when residents from the Village Lane apartments were evacuated and transported to the West Town Shopping Center and afterwards to the Baytown Community Center Rescues operations are still ongoing at the posting of this story.
