Sheriff Brian C. Hawthorne reports that on June 20 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Chambers County Sheriff’s Office Covert Investigations Unit and Deputies, assisted by DPS, executed a search warrant in the 500 block of McDermott in Winnie, Texas. Three firearms, one of which was stolen, methamphetamine, marijuana, heroin and 150 pills of assorted prescription narcotics were seized at the residence.
Arrested were William Perry Wells IV, W/M 43 of Winnie, charged with possession of narcotics and felon in possession of a firearm with bonds totalling $127,000 and an outstanding warrant from the State of Ohio with a hold for no bond.
Ashley Leanne LaRue W/F 36 of Winnie, possession of drugs and theft of a firearm with bonds totalling $97,000.00, and failure to identify with no bond.
Micheal Stephen McCullough W/M 25 of Winnie, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia with no bond.
