On Thursday, June 15, 2017, two men fishing near the Fred Hartman Bridge heard a scream. They looked up and saw an object falling from the bridge and close to the shoreline on Exxon property. The object proved to be the body of an 18 – 20 year old male, Hispanic or white, dark grey t-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes. The body has not been identified. Today, the Medical Examiner will work to determine who he is. No ID or jewelry was found on the young male.
Then later that same evening, around 8:36 pm, the body of an adult male was recovered from the water in the 2000 block of Tri City Beach Road. The Medical Examiner’s office is also working to identify that body.
