2017-18168 – On March 26th at 2:29 a.m., officers responded to a major accident in the 5500 block of W. Baker Road. Upon arrival officers found a Black GMC pickup on its side. As officers began their investigation into the accident they noticed, what appeared to be the body a female, trapped under the vehicle. It was apparent that the individual had suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The female, who is believed to have been the driver of the vehicle, was determined to be a 26 year old Baytown woman. Based on the investigation of the accident, it is believed that the vehicle struck a curb while traveling on W. Baker, then struck a culvert before landing on its side. Baytown Police Department Accident Reconstructionists were called to the scene and continue to investigate the accident.
