On December 14th, detectives with the Baytown Police Department Special Operations
Unit along with the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area/ Montgomery County Narcotics
Enforcement Team conducted a narcotics investigation in the 100 block of Bowie Street
in Baytown.
During the course of the investigation it was established that large quantities of cocaine
were being distributed from a residence located at 101 Bowie Street. Based on
information learned during the investigation, detectives were able to secure a search
warrant for the residence.
As a result of the investigation, at approximately 7:00 p.m. detectives served the search
warrant, which resulted in the seizure of approximately 7 kilograms (16 pounds) of
cocaine and the arrest of 33 year old Jesus Quiroga of Baytown. Mr. Quiroga is currently
being held in the Harris County Jail on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance
with Intent to Deliver.
