Police seeking person of interest in double homicide
On November 8th at 10:29 a.m., Baytown Police responded to a welfare concern in the 5400 block of Louise Street. The caller advised they had not been able to reach their daughter and granddaughter, and the daughter had not shown up for work. The family went to the residence and found the front door slightly ajar, prompting them to call the Police.
Once responding officers arrived on the scene, they entered the residence and found the bodies of 37 year old Cynthia Morris and her 13 year old daughter Breanna Pavilicek, deceased. Both victims appear to have suffered at least one gunshot wound.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle belonging to Cynthia was missing from the residence. The vehicle is described as a white, Chrysler PT Cruiser, bearing Texas License Plate FPN-
- Detectives also learned the Cynthia’s 16 year old daughter; Kirsten Fritch was missing as well, and is believed to be with an acquaintance, 21 year old Jesse Dobbs. Detectives are considering Mr. Dobbs a person of interest at this time and are concerned about the welfare of the 16 year old.
We are seeking any information the public may have to assist in locating the 16 year old, Mr. Dobbs and the missing vehicle in this case.
