Sheriff Brian C. Hawthorne reports that the deceased couple discovered yesterday in the 11000 block of Cedar Gully Road in Beach City, Texas, have been identified as 72 year old Chester Bienek and his 72 year old wife Sandra Bienek. The Bienek’s 14 year old grandson has been charged with two counts of capital murder in their deaths and was magistrated yesterday in Judge Jimmy Sylvia’s court on the charges. Chambers County Sheriffs Office was dispatched to the residence after a 911 call from an Administrator at Barbers Hill I.S.D. asking for a welfare concern check at the home. The Barbers Hill Middle School principal was talking to the student who lives at the home on the phone regarding his truancy and the Principal wanted to speak to the student’s grandfather Chester Beniek; the student then revealed there was a possible medical emergency regarding his Grandmother. The Administrator immediately instructed his staff to call 911 for assistance. Sheriffs Deputies and Emergency Medical Services responded and found Chester and Sandra Bienek slain in their bed, each with a single gunshot wound to the back of the head. Judge Larry Cryer pronounced the Bienek’s dead and ordered an autops¥ to confirm cause of death. Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office determined approximate time of death to be late Sunday night or early Monday morning. The juvenile is being housed in the Hardin County Juvenile Detention Center pending his 1:30 p.m. October 26 hearing in Judge Jimmy Sylvia’s courtroom at the Chambers County Courthouse in Anahuac, Texas.
