tdjc-newthis

You are watching as law enforcement awaiting the arrival of a Texas Department of Criminal Justice bus at the San Jacinto Hospital in Baytown.  The bus arrived around 10 am this morning, Friday, September 30, 2016.  It is occupied by 14 inmates, and was in route to Galveston UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch) Hospital early this morning when it hit a fire truck parked at the scene of a major accident that had just occurred on I-I0 west near Anahuac.  One fireman was injured as a result of the TDCJ bus hitting the fire truck. The major accident itself involved two vehicles and resulted in a fatality in one vehicle and an entrapment in the other vehicle.  Life Flight was dispatched to the scene. Here is John Sturgis with the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital.  Check back later for the official Department of Public Safety press release.
