On Saturday, June 11, 2016, Baytown PD, EMS and Fire and Rescue responded to the scene of an accident involving three vehicles. According to information gathered at the scene, the driver of the black pickup pictured in this video ran through two red lights and careened into the back of the suv shown in this video which caused the suv to hit the Toyota occupied by a female who was ejected from the car and pinned underneath. Three men lifted the vehicle off the female. The driver of the pickup was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, but first he became combative with police and had to be tazed at the scene. A four year old l girl was in the pickup of the combative driver and thankfully was not injured.
Then immediately after this first accident, Baytown’s emergency personnel responded to the scene of a rollover at Decker Drive and Avenue J. The vehicle flipped three times and the driver sustained minor injuries. He too was charged with driving while intoxicated.
