Update/Official Chambers County Sheriff’s Office Press Release Concerning Body Found in Walmart Parking Lot:

Sheriff Brian C. Hawthorne reports that today at approximately 12:45 p.m. a citizen notified a deputy patrolling the Walmart parking lot at 8700, highway 146 in Mont Belvieu Texas of an unconscious partially clad female in a vehicle. There were no physical signs of trauma to the 24 year old white female who was found dead. Chambers County Sheriff’s Office detectives have determined from Walmart security video that she was alive at approximately 1:20 a.m. on April 11. Investigation revealed she is believed to be a missing person reported to the Baytown Police Department yesterday at approximately 6:00 p.m. Investigation is ongoing and the cause of death has yet to be determined.
Baytown police apprehended two men who burgularized a home today, April 13, 2016, in Baytown. In this video, the homeowner speaks regarding the burgulary.
