Update 04.11.16: Official Press Release: 29 year old Richard Shelvin was found dead by his mother at their home on Red Cedar Drive. A preliminary investigation shows Richard was suffering from mental health issues, had recently purchased a firearm and shot himself in the head while home alone. There were no signs of foul play at the scene.
As of the posting of this story on Thursday evening, April 7, 2016, Baytown PD are currently investigating a scene on Red Cedar Bend in Baytown. A mother arrived home this evening and found her 
29-year-old son lying face down in a pool of blood. The victim was non-responsive. There are no details available at the posting of this story. Please check back for the official Baytown Police press release.
