03.06.16 SWAT Standoff in Baytown March 6, 2016 Baytown Cops BaytownCops.com News, BaytownCops.com Videos 0 Official Baytown Police Press Release: Last night at 7:24 p.m., 54 year old Baytown man Seth Hawkins was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon after he choked and stabbed his 46 year old girlfriend in their Shady Oaks RV Park home. The victim was able to escape and ask a neighbor to call police. She sustained non-life threatening cuts to her hand and hip. Responding officers used a pa in an attempt to talk Hawkins into coming outside; he would not comply. Hostage negotiators and Baytown S.W.A.T. were summoned to the scene and a five hour standoff ensued. Hawkins ultimately surrendered and was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Chambers County Jail – I do not have a mug shot of him.
