A 21 year old Houston man was shot three times in the leg by an unidentified person after a disturbance erupted at his friend’s Louise Street home. The victim was reportedly leaving his friend’s home when a white passenger car pulled up and someone started firing from it. Police officers located the suspect vehicle in the 4900 block of Meadowood and detained a number of people for investigation. It was determined the victim’s friend’s ex-girlfriend may have rallied the suspect(s) to shoot at the victim. The victim in this case refused to cooperate with police and no charges have been filed. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital.
In our second story, late Monday afternoon, February 1, 2016, Baytown police, EMS and Fire and Rescue responded to the scene of a rollover on Decker Drive in Baytown. According to information gathered at the scene, the female driver of the vehicle that rolled over was traveling at a high rate of speed when she hit the black car shown in the video. The driver of the car was not injured, but was according to his statement very shaken by the accident. The female driver did not receive life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment. This is not the official Baytown police press release.
