11.13.15 Fatal Auto Pedestrian Accident on Business 146 South

On Friday night, November 13, 2015, Baytown’s emergency personnel responded to the scene of an auto pedestrian accident on Business Highway 146 South in Baytown, Texas. A male pedestrian was struck by a pickup as he attempted to cross Business 146. The driver of the pickup stated after the traffic light turned green, he proceeded to travel south on Business 146 when the pedestrian crossed in front of him. He male was struck by the pickup and pronounced dead at the scene. No citation was issued to the driver and the investigation is ongoing.
