In a press release from Patti Jet with the City of Baytown, the family of an 18-month-old female stated they were cooking tamales, they had a pot of stewed chicken in a pot. They set the pot on the floor. Apparently the child fell into the pot suffering 60-70% burns.The child was conscious when airlifted to the burn unit in Galveston, Texas.
