Two Fires in Baytown

Baytown Fire Department, Police and EMS responded to the scene of a structure fire on Lariat Drive in the  Chaparral Village subdivision on Saturday night, March  6, 2010.  The fire started in the attic and was quickly extinguished by Baytown Fire Department.  Less than eight hours later, Baytown Fire Department responded to the scene of another structure fire  on Barkuloo Road and less than one mile away from the first structure fire.  The house, which was located next door to Crockett Elementary School, was totally destroyed by fire.
