Official Press Release: 07.17.24 The Baytown Police Department is currently investigating an accidental shooting incident. On July 16, 2024, at approximately 7:00 PM, officers were dispatched to a residence located in the 4200 block of N. SH 146 in reference to an accidental shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 36-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her right thigh. Female was transported to the hospital and treated for her injuries. The victim’s condition is stable. The investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be provided as soon as it is available.
