Auto Ped Accident – SH 146
At approximately 10:33 p.m. last night (1/31/21) Mont Belvieu Police Department and Fire Department were dispatched to a report of a female pedestrian hit by a car in the northbound lane of SH 146 between Iguana Joe’s Restaurant and L&R RV Park. MBPD discovered that the subject vehicle did not stop after the accident and continued northbound on SH 146. Reports from another motorist indicate that the vehicle that hit her was a dark colored Toyota.
Upon arrival, MBFD paramedics began treating the female patient in the road. The patient suffered what appeared to be multiple fractures to her left leg including a compound fracture. The patient, while responsive, appeared mentally altered and was somewhat combative during treatment. Due to the severity of the injuries to her leg, the patient was transported via Life Flight to the hospital.

An anuto pedestrian accident occurred in Mt. Belvieu shortly after 10 pm on Sunday night. A 30-year-old female was airlifted to a Houston hospital. Check back for the official press release.
