Story 1:
2021-4127 – On January 27th at 7:47 p.m., officers responded to a report of a major accident in the 2300 block of Spur 330. Upon arrival officers found two vehicles, a Jeep Wrangler and Mazda SUV were involved in the crash. During the investigation officers determined both vehicles were traveling south on Spur 330 when the Jeep struck the rear of the Mazda SUV. The collision caused the two vehicles to end up against the concrete barrier on the outside lanes of Spur 330 over Rollingbrook, with the Mazda coming to rest on top of the concrete barrier. The occupants of the Mazda, which consisted of two adults and two children, ages six and four, were not injured, however the driver of the Jeep was airlifted to Hermann Hospital to be treated for his injuries, the extent of his injuries are unknow at this time. The driver of the Jeep was cited for Failure to Control Speed however officers are still investigating to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Story 2: Baytown Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 1500 block of East Wright around 8 pm on Wednesday night. The occupants of the home, as well as the family dog, safely vacated the home. There were no injuries.
